VITEC KING KELP CONCENTRATE

FOLIAR APPLICATIONS

Vitec King Kelp contains natural nutrients which are rapidly absorbed by actively growing plants. Maximum responses are generally obtained with low application rates. It is better to repeat low application rates at 10-20 day intervals than to make a single heavy application.

The best responses will occur at the following stages of growth:

Seedling/Transplant — vegetables, field crops.

Early Vegetative Growth (50% ground cover) — cereals, cotton, field crops, green vegetables

Pre-blossom (and two-week intervals until the end of flowering) — Flowering vegetables (tomatoes, zucchini, squash etc), fruit crops, field crops.

Fruit Set — Fruit crops, flowering vegetables

5-10 litres/hectare. Apply early morning for best leaf absorption.

SOIL APPLICATION

To stimulate soil organic activity and improve soil health, apply King Kelp at 10-20 litres/hectare early Spring and Autumn when soil is moist. Apply late afternoon or evening. Dilution rate is not critical for soil application.

DOMESTIC USE

Apply to foliage after diluting 50:1 with water. For soil application, dilute 50:1 with water.

The following nutrients occur as organic form:

Kelp 35%

Added Water 64%

Stabilisers 1%

Nitrogen (N) 0.02% w/v

Phosphorous (P) 0.01% w/v

Potassium (K) 0.6% w/v

Calcium (Ca) 0.13% w/v

Magnesium (Mg) 0.06% w/v

Iron (Fe) 65 mg/kg

Copper (Cu) 4 mg/kg

Zinc (Zn) 4 mg/kg

Boron (B) 6 mg/kg

Sieve 100% Fine

ATTENTION

• Stir well before using.
• Remove very fine strainers and filters.
• Use broadcast spraying system. E.g. single field jet (10m spray) rather than broom spray.
• King Kelp can be combined with commonly used weedicides and pesticides.
• Do not apply King Kelp undiluted to plants
• Wash Equipment after use.
